Young Everton defender impresses.

Everton under-23 coach David Unsworth has praised youngster Morgan Feeney.
Feeney, 18, starred in Everton’s 2-0 victory over Chelsea as part of a back three.
Unsworth told Everton’s official website that he believes Feeney is a terrific prospect and he was encouraged by his leadership.
He said: “Morgan’s performance was outstanding. You can see his qualities as a player.
“But you also look at his organisation and leadership – you can hear him shouting more than me sometimes, and I can shout pretty loud!
“But that is why he is captain. He was terrific.”
Feeney featured alongside Ryan Astley, 17, and Con Ouzounidis, 19.

Feeney recovered last year from surgery on his patella tendons which saw him spend six months on the sidelines.
At the start of 2017/18 he even featured for Everton’s first team in the Europa League, under Unsworth’s management.
The young centre-back would be a good player for Football League clubs to target on loan in the transfer window if Everton make him available.
After his injury Everton may want to keep him put for now, but they need to do something to further accelerate his development and help him stand a shot at breaking into a crowded first team picture.
