Everton have been linked with highly-rated Lille striker Rafael Leao and Crystal Palace whizz kid Wilfried Zaha this summer.

Whilst Everton have added fresh new faces to their squad this summer, they are yet to make that statement signing, and there is a feeling something could be brewing around the corner.
Previously, French outlet L’Equipe have claimed that Everton are one of several clubs keen on Lille striker Rafael Leao this summer.
Added with that, the Evening Standard have reported that the Merseyside club have joined the race for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
Both players are needed by Marco Silva at Goodison Park and there’s no doubt that they would change the dynamic of Everton’s team if they were to sign.
Winger Zaha would provide directness, skill and the ability to change a game at any moment. He would more than compliment the technically gifted midfielders already at the club.

As for youngster Leao, he is perhaps a missing piece in the jigsaw Silva is trying to build. His off-the-ball movement, presence upfront and finishing ability is exactly what supporters are looking for in the transfer market.
Combine the two and bring them to Everton then Silva may just have a squad to not just challenge for the top-seven, but even challenge for Champions League places.
There’s no doubt that the Toffees are a long away with from that, but if they can get their attacking transfer business right in these coming weeks then it’ll bode well for their ambitions of finishing in Europe ahead of the new campaign.
