Everton have started their Premier League campaign impressively, but Ross Barkley’s form has been a cause for concern.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is being increasingly concerned about the form of Ross Barkley, and plans to hold talks with the youngster in a bid to help him improve his performances, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The Toffees are sitting pretty in third place in the Premier League following three consecutive victories. Their 3-0 victory last night was tempered by Barkley’s display, after he was substituted at half-time.
What made things worse for the 22-year-old was that the score was 0-0 when he was replaced, and their performance as a team drastically improved with Gerard Deulofeu in is place.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Koeman explained how Barkley’s showing forced him into taking action, and how he plans to resolve the issue, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
“I know it’s always difficult for the manager because he was not selected for the national team and you take the player off after 45 minutes. But I had to do something. He lost too many balls. But I will speak to Ross tomorrow and that’s no problem.”

Barkley has already made 145 appearances for the Merseyside outfit, despite his tender years, so his importance to his side throughout the years he has been present at the club is not in question.
He is easily good enough to work his way out of this tricky spell, and return to his best form for Everton, and in turn, earn a recall to the England setup.
