James Rodriguez is clearly champing at the bit to be involved for Everton tomorrow.

The Toffees welcome out-of-form Manchester United at Goodison Park in the hope that they can get back to winning ways.

Everton went through the whole of October without a single victory in the Premier League – one draw, and two defeats – after their flawless start in what is Carlo Ancelotti’s first full season.

One big reason behind the Blues’ high-flying start was Rodriguez, who was exceptional under Ancelotti in the opening few weeks.

The Italian missed the former Real Madrid playmaker in the defeat by Newcastle United last weekend, but Ancelotti claims Rodriguez himself has assured him that he’s 100 percent fit – even if he doesn’t believe his player.

He told The Echo: “It will be an important and difficult game. He said that he’s 100%. I have some doubt that he’s 100% but it doesn’t matter for me!”

Even if Rodriguez is only fighting at 75 percent then he could still be the difference between no points and three for Everton tomorrow.

He’s such a fine player and one who the Red Devils won’t want to see line up against them in the tunnel, having hit three goals and set up another three in his first six Premier League games.
