Everton are definitely not considering loaning out Yannick Bolasie this month.

Sam Allardyce looks on from the stand during the Premier League match between Everton and West Ham United at Goodison Park on November 29, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Sam Allardyce has told the Liverpool Echo that he has already heard some ‘ridiculous’ rumours about Everton’s January transfer window plans.

Everton are expected to be active in the coming weeks, with both arrivals and departures anticipated.

According to Allardyce he was recently shown a report which suggested that Bolasie could leave on loan.

But Allardyce insists that there is absolutely no chance that he will allow the returning winger to depart.

“I had a weird message yesterday that we’re allowing Yannick Bolasie to go out on loan! That is January for you!

“It’s ludicrous to think we’re going to allow him to leave on loan.”

Bolasie has only just come back from a long-term injury, and he has impressed with Everton to date.

The trickster may not be at his sharpest, but he showed against Manchester United just how much of a threat he can be.

Everton lost 2-0 to the Red Devils, but Bolasie was their most threatening attacking player by a distance.

The Toffees are relying on Bolasie to get back to his best sooner rather than later, as on his day he is a major attacking weapon.

Bolasie could feature again for Everton tomorrow evening, when Allardyce’s side take on Liverpool in the FA Cup.
