Everton were beaten 1-0 by Southampton at St. Mary’s yesterday.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has reacted angrily when asked about Southampton’s Josh Sims, as per his comments in the Daily Mirror.
Southampton surprisingly started Sims against Everton yesterday, with the 19-year-old impressing on his debut.
The youngster set up Charlie Austin’s for the Saints’ first goal, and he caused the Everton defence a lot of problems during the match, which Claude Puel’s side went on to win 1-0.

Koeman was asked after the game whether he knew about Sims during his time at St. Mary’s.
But the frustrated Dutch boss snapped: “I wasn’t aware of Josh Sims when I was here and he is not my problem – I work for Everton, not Southampton.”
Sims was named man of the match after Southampton’s victory, with Leighton Baines struggling to deal with the wide man’s threat.

Everton’s defeat was a major blow for Koeman’s side, who have started to struggle in recent weeks.
The Toffees have won just once in their last nine games, and they have begun to slip down the Premier League table.
Everton are now in seventh place in the top flight standings, with their next match coming against Manchester United at the weekend.
