Ronald Koeman has already agreed a deal to sign one relegated star in the shape of Jordan Pickford but should trump Leicester City to another.
Jordan Pickford
According to the likes of Sky Sports the Toffees have agreed a fee totalling £30 million for relegated Sunderland goalkeeper Pickford having had an opening bid knocked back last week.
The move shows Everton boss Ronald Koeman means business this summer.
Speculation is rife over the future of star players Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku and Koeman may face something of a rebuilding job over the next few months.
It also proves he is keen to bolster his ranks with quality young English players.

And while he will undoubtedly be scouring Europe for top talent, the Dutchman could do a lot worse than hijack Leicester City’s move for another young Englishman who has shone in a relegated side, Hull City’s Harry Maguire.
The Foxes have gone ahead of Tottenham Hotspur as the club most likely to sign Maguire, according to Sky Bet.
Spurs had been favourites to sign the 24-year-old but it would appear Craig Shakespeare’s side are now in pole position, according to the betting.
Hull City’s Harry Maguire celebrates
But as the former Premier League champions drag their heels, it could give Koeman the chance to bring in a player who has ironically drawn comparisons to the former Barcelona and Holland legend with his own style of play.
After Hull’s demotion to the Championship the Tigers’ most saleable and desirable asset is undoubtedly Maguire.
Despite their demotion to the Championship Maguire was one of their most consistent performers throughout the season.
He is a rare breed of centre back who can operate at full back and is comfortable with the ball at his feet, which would appeal to Koeman and the way he wants his side to build from the back.
Everton’s Ashley Williams
Ashley Williams and Phil Jagielka are not getting any younger and money should not be an issue at Goodison Park this summer even without player sales.
Hull have already shown their hand in accepting Leicester’s bid as they look to raise some funds after falling off the Premier League gravy train.
And Koeman can offer Maguire European football unlike Leicester.
