Everton are expected to be active in the January transfer window.
Ronald Koeman has kept his cards close to his chest when asked about Everton’s reported interest in Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay, as per his comments in the Guardian.
Koeman has previously confirmed Everton’s interest in Depay, and the Toffees are also believed to want Schneiderlin.
The Merseyside club are known to be wanting to do business in the January transfer window, as Koeman looks to strengthen his starting line-up.

And when asked whether he expected Schneiderlin and Depay to be Everton players before the end of January, Koeman said: “Everyone inside here knows my opinion and they know the opinion of Steve Walsh, so we will see.”
Everton have made a slightly disappointing start to life this season, and they have failed to keep pace with the top six.
Koeman does not appear to be entirely satisfied with the options he currently has at Goodison Park.

Everton crashed out of the FA Cup against Leicester City last weekend, which sparked a furious response from Koeman.
Everton’s only signing of the January transfer window so far has been youngster Ademola Lookman from Charlton Athletic.
