Everton are expected to be extremely active in the upcoming transfer window, as they look to add further quality.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has admitted to the Daily Mirror that he is finding it difficult to find players who will upgrade the quality of his squad at Goodison Park.
Everton are expected to invest heavily in the summer transfer window – with Koeman set to be backed with a considerable amount of funds.
The Toffees want to add depth to their squad, as they look to compete in the Europa League as well as challenge for the top four in the Premier League next season.
But Koeman has admitted that he is already finding it a challenge, to identify the right targets for Everton.
He said: “I think first of all we need more numbers in to be prepared for a long, tough season with different competitions. And I think we need more aggression in the team.
“The big point is to get in players who will have more productivity. That’s what we try to find and that’s not easy.”
Everton are known to be looking for more attackers, as they want to become more of an offensive threat.
Romelu Lukaku has been in wonderful form for the Toffees this season, but he has had no competition in the Merseyside club’s goalscoring charts.
Everton’s second top scorer in Ross Barkley, who has scored only six times all season.
The Toffees have already been linked with the likes of Davy Klaassen and and Kasper Dolberg, ahead of the summer transfer window (Liverpool Echo).
