Everton have begun their 2016/17 Premier League campaign in impressive style.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Everton boss Ronald Koeman explained how he will scour the transfer market in January, despite being more than happy with the current options he has available to him at Goodison Park, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Toffees face West Ham United on Sunday, and will be determined to bounce back from their disappointing run of two draws and two losses in their last four Premier League outings.

The Blues currently sit just four points outside the top-four, and a good run between now and Christmas could see them make a sustained run for a potential Champions League spot come May.

Koeman spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s clash against the Hammers, and discussed how he will look at improving his side in January, as quoted by evertonfc.com:

“I think we already have enough personalities in the team. But we always try to be better and stronger, and if we get any change with a good player in January to make the squad stronger, then we will do that.”

The Dutchman was fairly active during the summer transfer window, bringing in five new faces on long-term deals, along with the loan signing of Enner Valencia.

Whether or not Koeman adds to his numbers remains to be seen, and will depend heavily on what shape his side are in come January 1st.
