Everton have struggled to find a clinical finisher throughout the campaign so far.

Marco Silva has suggested at his latest press conference, which was broadcast on Everton’s Periscope channel, that Richarlison has been training as a striker.

Everton have lacked a clinical finisher throughout the season so far, with their options up-front not working.

Cenk Tosun is yet to open his account for the campaign, Oumar Niasse doesn’t look up the standard required, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still learning the role.

It leaves Silva with a dilemma over who should lead the line for Everton, and Richarlison has been talked about as a possible option.

The Brazilian started up-front for the national side and scored twice on debut.

And Silva admits that putting Richarlison in a number nine role could be a possibility, ahead of Everton’s match with Fulham this weekend.

“It’s a possibility,” Silva said, when asked if Richarlison could play up-front.

“This week, he’s worked some moments as I striker, I can tell you. It’s for me to decide tomorrow.”

If Richarlison does start up-front for Everton, it could allow Bernard to play on the left-wing.

Everton have lost their last two matches, and are under pressure to get back to winning ways tomorrow.
