Marco Silva concedes that Everton’s Richarlison struggled on his return to Watford.

Everton boss Marco Silva has admitted to The Daily Mail that Richarlison didn’t have a good game on his return to Watford on Saturday.
The Brazilian attacker struggled for Everton as Silva’s side went down 1-0 in London.
Richarlison, a £50 million signing from Watford last summer [BBC Sport], was arguably the Toffees’ brightest player in the first half, but Silva hooked him just after the Hornets’ winner on 65 minutes.
He and the Portuguese manager – who also swapped Vicarage Road for Goodison Park in the summer – were jeered during what was an uncomfortable afternoon for the duo.
And Silva admits that it wasn’t the 23-year-old’s best performance.
After calling his side’s performance ‘toothless’, he simply said of Richarlison’s display: “[It] was not a good performance.”
It has still been a wonderful first season on Merseyside for Richarlison, who has 10 goals in 25 Premier League outings.
But he is now three games without a goal – and all three were defeats for Everton, which indicates that Silva’s side don’t win if he isn’t on it.
The Goodison Park side visit Cardiff on February 26, before gearing up for a Merseyside derby with Liverpool a week later.
