Everton defenders Phil Jagielka’s and Leighton Baines’ contracts expires at the end of next season.

Both Jagielka and Baines are reaching the twilights of their careers, and have been forced out of Everton’s starting line-up of late.
Jagielka has suffered with injury, while Baines has lost his place to the impressive Lucas Digne.
And Silva admits that the pair’s futures are now in doubt, with their contracts coming to an end.
“As for the decisions about new contracts or whatever, we will have time to talk about the situation in the future,” Silva said.
Jagielka and Baines’ current contracts only last until the end of next season.

The duo are the two longest-serving players in Everton’s current squad, and their departures really would indicate the start of a new era.
The Toffees have big plans for the future, and it could see Jagielka and Baines consigned to reserve roles.
Jagileka’s chances of breaking into Everton’s starting line-up could be even more limited in the coming weeks, as Yerry Mina is set to return to fitness.
