Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in Everton’s Tom Davies but he should ignore their advances.
A report from the Sun claims that Everton youngster Tom Davies is among a handful of players wanted by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as the Italian continues his bumper summer of spending.
The Blues have already secured Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero in this transfer window, but the club are ready to provide a further £140m of funds to sign players like Davies.

The article goes on to say that the West Londoners may have trouble attracting the 19-year-old because of his emotional connection with the Toffees, but there is a far more practical reason why the teenager should ignore the advances of the Premier League champions.
It has almost become something of a running joke about how many players Chelsea have out on loan – with the Guardian naming 38 at the beginning of last season – but what this actually does is stifle the development of youth at Stamford Bridge.
The majority of those sent away on temporary deals are youngsters and even those that have gone onto become some of the most expensive purchases in English football history – such as Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku – had limited opportunities during their time with the Blues.
Meanwhile, at Goodison Park, Davies is being trusted by boss Ronald Koeman to the extent that he made 25 appearances for the club last term.
Plus, after finishing seventh in 2016/17, the Merseysiders have hardly been slouches in the market themselves this summer and if the midfielder wants to keep developing into a potential England international, then he is in the best place possible already.
