Everton want Anthony Elanga again with the Manchester United back on Frank Lampard’s wish list for the January window.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Lampard is desperate to add a winger and a striker next month.
It’s claimed that Elanga is ‘growing frustrated’ at his lack of playing time under Erik ten Hag this season.
Elanga has only started five Premier League games and managed just 375 minutes of top-flight football this season.
Even with Jadon Sancho currently unavailable, Elanga hasn’t been featuring and he came on for just four minutes against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
Everton are now back in for Elanga having wanted him before the summer deadline according to the Daily Mail.
Other Premier League clubs are interested too though, meaning Everton will face a battle to secure his signature.

Elanga could provide spark for Everton
It’s blatantly clear that Everton just don’t have the attacking firepower to hurt teams right now.
Summer signings Dwight McNeil and Neal Maupay haven’t clicked and the Toffees need to go back into the market.
Elanga has speed and a real willingness to run at defenders even if his first few attempts don’t quite work out.
We saw that against Trent Alexander-Arnold back in August as Elanga gave the Liverpool right back a torrid night.
Hailed as ‘electric’ by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, 20-year-old Elanga could form a very direct wing combination with Anthony Gordon.
United may be a little reluctant to send another player to Everton on loan after Donny van de Beek’s struggles there last season but Everton need attacking impetus.
Elanga should therefore receive plenty of playing time at Goodison Park and that’s how Lampard and Kevin Thelwell ultimately have to sell the move.
The Swede has bags of talent but just need a stage on which to show it – and Everton will hope to finally win the race, months after originally targeting Elanga.
