The Premier League clubs play their final matches this weekend before yet another international break, the third of the season already.

Two weeks away from domestic football can be a long time to dwell on a result, so here are three managers who have the most to prove and will be desperate to go into the fortnight off on a high.

The West Ham United boss just can’t seem to shift the burden of pressure off his shoulders, which in truth is not being helped by poor results on the pitch such as conceding a 97th minute equaliser to Crystal Palace, as they did in their last outing.

The Hammers host a Liverpool side on Saturday (November 4) who have been inconsistent this term but could push the East Londoners into the relegation zone if they beat them.

In 2017, West Bromwich Albion have lost 13, drawn six and won just three of their 22 league matches. They have not won in the English top tier since August 19.

This is a sorry run that has once again seen questions being asked about Pulis’ management and defeat at Huddersfield Town this weekend would not help the Welshman’s case.

David Unsworth

The current caretaker at Everton has made no secret of the fact he wants the job permanently, but a 2-0 defeat to Leicester City in his first league game in charge will not have boosted his chances.

The Lancashire Telegraph reports Burnley’s Sean Dyche will be approached during the international break, so Unsworth has one final audition at home to Watford on Sunday (November 5) to prove his credentials.
