Nordsjaelland midfielder Mohamed Kudus is a man in demand right now – and one of his own coaches is backing him to join Liverpool.
Kudus, 19, was plucked from the Right to Dream academy in 2018. He has now become one of the top young teenagers in Europe having starred in Denmark.
The Ghanaian has hit nine goals in 21 league games this season, proving himself as a goalscoring midfielder. He’s also added one assist in a strong campaign.
Unsurprisingly, Kudus is now a wanted man. Recent reports from Het Belang van Limburg claimed that Everton are back in for Kudus, having targeted him last summer.
Ghana Soccernet added that Newcastle United’s potential new owners want to sign Kudus, having been impressed with the potential he has shown in Denmark.
Nordsjaelland are no doubt seeing a huge cash windfall in Kudus, and youth coach Laryea Kingston has given his view on the future of the teenager.
Kingston has told Goal that, if he had to pick between Everton and Newcastle for Kudus, then he would pick Everton because of their record with young players.

However, Kingston thinks that Liverpool would be the ultimate move for Kudus. It’s unclear whether the Reds are actually keen, but Kingston thinks that Kudus could make a real impact at Anfield.
“Looking at Newcastle and Everton, for me I think Everton will fit his game because they give a lot of young players chances. Even the English FA mostly pick youth players at Everton [for national teams], so they will help him develop.”
“I will prefer Everton but if Liverpool comes in, they are a big club with guaranteed Champions League football, I think that [Liverpool] will help him a lot more than he will get at the other two clubs [Everton and Newcastle]. If I am in his shoes and I’m to pick between Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle, I know it’s going to be tough at Liverpool but I will choose Liverpool. Liverpool may already have a lot of good players at his position but so long as they want him, then they know what they want to do with him,” he added.
