Joel Campbell is a forgotten man at Arsenal, and Everton and Newcastle United both have reason to want to sign him this summer.

Forgotten Arsenal forward Joel Campbell reminded people what he was all about during Wednesday evening’s World Cup group stage match between Costa Rica and Switzerland, which finished 2-2.
The 26-year-old looked dangerous during the encounter, showcasing impressive strength and dribbling for Los Ticos and providing assists for both of Costa Rica’s goals.
Campbell was loaned out to Real Betis by Arsene Wenger last season but hardly featured, and he has only made 23 Premier League appearances since joining the club in 2011.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
Unai Emery may feel differently about Campbell than Wenger, but surely Newcastle and Everton have to be monitoring the situation, with Arsenal boasting a number of stellar attacking players.

If the 25-year-old is after a change of environment, then Newcastle and Everton – 10th and eighth in the league respectively last season – could both be a great fit for the player.
Newcastle are understood to be in the market for a winger. They face difficulty re-signing Chelsea star Kenedy this summer according to Goal, and may have to look at alternatives.

Everton have Theo Walcott and Yannick Bolasie but both were inconsistent last term, and signing Campbell could be good for competition.
Campbell has proven he still has a lot to offer in the Premier League, he just needs a team willing to give him a chance to showcase it regularly and both Newcastle and Everton have need and could do a lot worse.
