FC Porto’s Eder Militao was linked with Premier League duo Everton and Liverpool before sealing a move to La Liga powerhouses Real Madrid.

Any hopes Everton and Liverpool still had of luring Eder Militao to Merseyside are officially over.
UOL Esporte claim that The Toffees have been scouting the talented Brazilian defender during his sensational debut season with FC Porto while the red-clad club from the other side of Stanley Park have also shown interest.
That is according to The Sun anyway with Militao seemingly identified as a future partner for the influential Virgil van Dijk at Anfield.
But the former Sao Paulo starlet won’t be playing his football in the Premier League next season. Because, after a prolonged period of speculation, the 21-year-old has completed his big-money move to Real Madrid.
According to The Mail, Los Blancos have paid £43 million and handed Eder a contract until 2025. The centre-back appears to be the first addition in what looks set to be a busy summer at the Santiago Bernabau with a changing of the guards likely to take place after the return of Zinedine Zidane in the summer.
Madrid will be hoping that Eder can follow in the footsteps of fellow defender Pepe, who swapped Porto for Real back in 2007 and went on to win three Champions League titles with the club.
