New Everton manager Ronald Koeman worked with Maarten Stekelenburg at Southampton last season.

Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the signing of Maarten Stekelenburg from Fulham.
The Merseyside outfit have secured the services of Stekelenburg from Championship side Fulham.
As announced on Everton’s official website, the 33-year-old goalkeeper has signed a three-year contract with the Blues.

The Dutchman has become the first signing of new Everton manager Ronald Koeman, who left Southampton for the Toffees earlier this summer.
Stekelenburg worked with Koeman at Premier League side Southampton last season (on loan from Fulham) and also at Dutch giants Ajax in the early noughties.
The former AS Roma goalkeeper featured in 17 Premier League matches for Southampton during the 2015-16 campaign, keeping six clean sheets in the process.

The 33-year-old made 1.59 saves per game and 1.42 saves per goal on average for the Saints last season.
