The former Borussia Dortmund manager had agreed a three-year contract with the Eagles.
However, the 63-year-old then decided against taking up the offer from the Premier League club.
The report claims that Everton had also expressed an interest in the Swiss in recent days.
Favre plans to take an extended break from football, which is why he decided to decline Palace’s offer.
