Most Everton fans are not happy that Crystal Palace are eyeing up a move for Ademola Lookman.

Everton and Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports coming from The Sun over the Easter weekend which have suggested that the latter are eyeing up a summer move for Ademola Lookman if Wilfried Zaha leaves.

The Sun reports that the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham are keen on Zaha and a £50 million summer exit could be on the cards, and that has left the Eagles considering a bid for Lookman.

It has not been an easy time for the youngster since his £11 million move to Goodison Park last year. A goal on his debut in the emphatic victory over Manchester City hinted that the Toffees had pulled off a stunning piece of business, but there has been little to smile about since then.

He has barely got a look in this season and ended up heading out on loan to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in January – and The Sun is now reporting that he may be tempted by the chance to move back to London, thus giving Palace hope over a potential summer swoop should Zaha leave.

Unsurprisingly, the news that Everton may be about to sell Lookman has not gone down well with several Toffees fans. The youngster is one of the most exciting players in Allardyce’s squad and they were left scratching their heads at the club’s decision to allow him to leave for Leipzig in January.

Letting him leave permanently therefore, seems to be an incredibly unpopular idea amongst some of the fans who have reacted to the news on Twitter.
