Everton are reportedly interested in Birmingham City striker Che Adams this summer.

A number of Everton and Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports emerging from The Sun on Sunday (24/3; page 59) which suggested that the Toffees want Che Adams this summer.

Adams has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in the Championship. The Blues striker has scored 21 league goals for Garry Monk’s men who were on the periphery of the play-off discussion before they received a points deduction.

Unfortunately for Birmingham, his form has not gone unnoticed, and The Sun on Sunday (24/3; page 59) reports that he could be sold in the summer, with Everton amongst those considering a move for the £15 million-rated forward.

Interestingly, it appears that many Birmingham fans on social media seem willing to see Adams leave for Merseyside if they get a fee of around £15-25 million.

This is the first season in which the 22-year-old has reached double figures for Championship goals, so perhaps Birmingham’s fans feel that selling this summer could be a smart move in case he fails to rediscover that form further down the line.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of Toffees supporters who would like to see Adams brought into Marco Silva’s side – partially because one of his middle names is Everton.
