Feasible signing?

Diakhaby is a very promising and talented young central defender, and the French rising star would be a good long-term signing for Everton.

The 21-year-old has made 11 appearances in Ligue 1 and five in the Europa League for Lyon this season, according to WhoScored.

With Chelsea and City also claimed to be interested in the youngster, it may not be feasible for Everton to sign the defender this summer.

Everton do need a young centre-back in the summer transfer window, but given the competition they are reportedly facing for Diakhaby, perhaps they should look at other transfer targets.
