Mikel Arteta’s side are said to be willing to sell him if a bid of around £20 million comes in.
And Arsenal supporters claim that Everton are the only club they could realistically see Maitland-Niles moving to for those sort of figures.
Maitland-Niles was once considered one of Arsenal’s top prospects, but he has struggled more recently.
The youngster has barely featured under Mikel Arteta, after failing to nail down a position in the Gunners first-team.
Everton and Arsenal have done a sizeable amount of business together in recent years, with Alex Iwobi the latest player to make the switch from the Emirates Stadium to Goodison Park.
