The Everton midfielder was reportedly a target for PSG in January.

Everton ace Idrissa Gueye sat down for an exclusive interview with French media outlet Canal+, and provided an update on his future, having been heavily linked with an exit from Goodison Park in January.
The 29-year-old was a reportedly transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain two months ago, according to the Telegraph, but the French giants eventually failed to meet the Toffees’ £40 million asking price for the midfielder.
Gueye joined Everton from Aston Villa for around £7 million in the summer of 2016, and he has gone on to be a real hit on Merseyside, chalking up 99 appearances in all competitions in the process.
The Senegalese ace sat down for an exclusive interview with French media outlet Canal+, and insisted that he is more than happy to stay at Goodison Park and give his all for Everton:

“It’s really not in my nature to make a scene and clash with the board knowing they’ve done everything for me, that they’ve already been correct with me. They allowed me to stay in the Premier League after Aston Villa got relegated. I owe everything to this club and will continue to give everything for the club as long as I’m there.”
Everton will be bracing themselves for more bids for Gueye in the summer, but they have already proven that they will not be bullied into selling the midfield ace.
Should PSG offer somewhere near £40 million for his services, however, Everton might just find that too hard to resist.
