The Everton forward is highly regarded on Merseyside.

Everton youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin sat down for an exclusive interview with Everton TV, and offered high words of praise for the influence that Marco Silva has had on his game since taking the reigns at Goodison Park in the summer.

The 21-year-old burst into the scene at Everton last season, and despite his tender years, he is already relatively experienced, having made 58 senior appearances for the Toffees.

He scored his side’s equaliser against Huddersfield Town on Saturday, and he was a constant menace against the Terriers, cutting inside from the left flank.

Calvert-Lewin spoke exclusively to Everton TV, and attributed his recent good form to Marco Silva, suggesting that some recent advice given to him by the Portuguese has had a really positive impact on his game:

“He has been good for me. I have played on the left quite a lot but he told me a few things before the game to try to help me out a little bit and they did. There are quite a few young players in the team but we can all compete. And it is nice to know the manager sees that, he sees it on a daily basis because we are all working hard in training.”

Next up for Everton is a home game against West Ham on Sunday September 16th, and the 21-year-old will be hoping for another opportunity to impress his manager.
