Everton and Crystal Palace played out a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park on Friday.
Friday night football saw Everton take on Crystal Palace at Goodison Park to kick off the weekend’s action.
The focus was firmly on the two strikers in the game, with Belgian duo Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke both coming up against each other.
A subplot was the battle of the wingers, though, as Yannick Bolasie faced his former club for the first time and with Andros Townsend keen to show he is an adequate replacement.

As it transpires, it was another win for the Eagles star as he beat Bolasie in four key areas, with the duo level in another two.
He managed more accurate passes, 20 to 17, and a better overall passing accuracy than Bolasie.
He was, however, beaten when it came to key passes as he failed to register one throughout the game.
He did, however, win for total shots and cross accuracy, although the two were level on their number of accurate crosses and both were without a shot on target.
Interestingly, Bolasie enjoyed a clear victory for dribbles won with a total of six to Townsend’s two.
Nonetheless, it was a clear win for the Crystal Palace man, although he is unlikely to have been happy with a mere share of the points.
