Chelsea won against Everton in the Premier League this afternoon.
Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Chelsea’s win against Everton this afternoon.
Chelsea got the better of Everton 3-0 away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
After a goalless first half, Pedro put the London club in the lead on 66 minutes. Gary Cahill doubled the visiting team’s advantage in the 79th minute, and Willian wrapped up the scoring in the 86th minute.
Former Tottenham and Everton striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Chelsea.
The win against Everton means that Chelsea are now seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the Premier League.
Tottenham are in action this evening, as they take on Arsenal at White Hart Lane in the North London derby.
Spurs need to pick up all three points against the Gunners in order to maintain the pressure on Chelsea.
Tottenham will head into the North London derby against Arsenal as favourites.
