Everton need a young, talented centre-back to replace Phil Jagielka and the Toulouse player is perfect for them.

Everton have some big decisions to make this summer in terms of new additions, with the centre of their defence a key area needing reinforcements.
While some of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League are regularly linked with the Toffees, they should consider looking further afield in a bid to save a lot of money while still signing a first-class defender.
One such player is Toulouse’s Issa Diop, who at only 20 is making waves in Ligue 1 and attracting plenty of interest from elsewhere.
Diop is superb in the air and has great movement on the ground, and while he has a contract with his current club until the summer of 2020, he may be tempted by a bigger move elsewhere.
Everton have the money to spend this summer and while the likes of Michael Keane and Harry Maguire are intriguing prospects, Diop has the potential to become a Toffees great if they are willing to take a chance.

Diop has already racked up 54 appearances for Toulouse despite his tender age and if the right offer comes in this summer his current club may be unable to refuse.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman knows a quality defender when he sees one, and if he has been watching Diop’s progress he is sure to have been impressed.
