Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to comments from head coach Marcelo Bielsa on Diego Llorente.

Bielsa has told Leeds Live that Llorente will not play for Leeds in their Premier League game against Everton away from home at Goodison Park this weekend.

“Shackleton, Pablo and Llorente are still not available, but the rest of the players are,” Leeds Live quotes the Argentine as saying.

Llorente joined Leeds from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2020 and was expected to make a big impact at Elland Road.

However, the 27-year-old Spain international central defender has yet to make his debut for the Whites.

Leeds Live quoted Bielss as saying last week that although Llorente has recovered from his injury after a lapse in training, he was being given extra time.

It seems that it is still not enough for the 27-year-old to make an appearance, and he will miss the Premier League game between Everton and Leeds at Goodison Park on Saturday evening.

The Whites played out a goalless draw with Arsenal in the league last weekend, but they suffered successive 4-1 defeats before the two-week international break.

Leeds need to do better defensively, and Llorente would have been a help, but it seems that the Whites will have to do without him yet again.

Some Leeds fans are worried about the situation of Llorente, as shown in the following posts on Twitter.
