Julian Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich only this week, and after links with Tottenham Hotspur, he is already being tipped as a potential successor to Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Bayern decided this week to get rid of Nagelsmann and replaced the German with Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked by Chelsea earlier in the season.

The Times have reported that Tottenham are keen on speaking to the 35-year-old Nagelsmann and see if he would like to replace Antonio Conte as the North London club’s head coach.

Spurs are reportedly considering sacking Conte, who is also out of contract at the Premier League club at the end of the season.

And now Nagelsmann is being linked with Liverpool.

SkyGermany reporter Florian Plettenberg has said on Twitter that Nagelsmann will eventually be back managing a big club.

While Plettenberg has noted that the German could take charge of Tottenham, Real Madrid or the Germany national football team, he has also mentioned Liverpool.

Now, Klopp is the manager of Liverpool at the moment.

We do not think that the German will leave the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners anytime soon.

However, Klopp is not going to stay at Liverpool forever.

A day will come when the former Borussia Dortmund boss will leave the club he so dearly comes.

Could Nagelsmann take charge of Liverpool then?

Why not?
