Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are competing for the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal won against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, while Liverpool and Manchester City played out a draw with each other at Anfield on Sunday.

The Gunners are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 64 points from 28 matches.

Liverpool are level on points with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and are second. Defending champions Manchester City are third on 63 points.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has said that Arsenal will be pleased that the match at Anfield on Sunday ended in a draw.

The Sky Sports pundit has said that he would rather Arsenal beat City at the Etihad Stadium or draw with the Citizens.

Jamie Carragher comments on Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City

Carragher said on Sky Sports: “If you’re Arsenal today, you’re thinking this is the perfect result. Liverpool will be thinking the same in a couple of weeks time when City face Arsenal.

“Arsenal and Liverpool are both trying to chase down City. They’re the team to beat still. City drop points here and it feels like if they’re going to drop any more it’s going to be in the next three or four games.

“Even though Arsenal are top, from a Liverpool point of view I would rather see Arsenal go and win at the Etihad or a draw. Certainly, not a City win because with City’s last five games of the season, you’d look at them and think they’ll get maximum points.

“If they don’t lose any more points in the next three or four games, they’ll be tough to stop.”

My View: Manchester City will win the Premier League title

I am backing Manchester City to beat Liverpool and Arsenal to the Premier League title this season.

City are just a point behind Arsenal and Liverpool. Pep Guardiola’s side have lost just three league games all season.

Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland are playing well at the moment, and we know how strong City are at the business end of the season.

City have won the Premier League title for the past three seasons and know how to get the job done.

I think that the Citizens will win the league title again, but only on the final day of the season.
