Even one Manchester City player was happy to see Stuart Dallas score a last-minute winner for Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, it seems.

Leeds defied the odds to win 2-1 away to the would-be Premier League champions as Dallas struck a late winner for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

It was a victory made all the more impressive by the fact that the Elland Road club played precisely half the match with 10 men following Liam Cooper’s red card before the break, when the score was 1-0 to the visitors.

Well, the fact that Leeds were a Championship club this time last year is impressive, too.

The Whites have been a breath of fresh air since returning to the Premier League and it’s very difficult to dislike them.

Even Sammy Robinson, an Under-23 player for Manchester City, is a fan.

Straight after the game, the 19-year-old took a photo of the score and tagged Leeds in an Instagram post, but not before adding three blue hearts, according to The Star.

On his IG profile, Robinson identifies as being from Leeds and therefore clearly has an affection for the Yorkshire giants, even if he’s contracted to the club who they humbled on Saturday.
