
Antonio Conte has reportedly just done at Tottenham Hotspur what he did during his time at Chelsea.
The Italian coach has seemingly triggered an overhaul of Spurs players’ nutrition since arriving in North London last week.
According to The Athletic, Conte has even outlawed condiments such as ketchup and mayonnaise in the belief that some of his Tottenham players are carrying too much weight.
In August of 2016, he banned the same things at Chelsea and the Blues were Premier League champions nine months later.

Of course, it’s much harder to win the Premier League at Tottenham than it was at Chelsea.
But that won’t be the short-term aim for Conte at the Lilywhites.
For now, the goal is getting Spurs back into the Champions League and it really does bode well that he’s working from the same blueprint that brought him a league title back in 2017.
Yes, there’s a lot of improvement needed among Tottenham players, but an intelligent and no-nonsense figure such as Conte is perhaps the perfect man to get the necessary response.
Under Nuno Espirito Santo, the players weren’t running anywhere near enough.
Under Conte, they absolutely will and it’ll be interesting to see if the modification of diet has a positive knock-on effect for collective fitness levels.
