West Ham United are said to be interested in signing the Swansea City stopper this summer.

According to The Sun, West Ham United have been told to pay £7 million for Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, but even at that price he looks like a great buy.

West Ham have had one offer rejected for the Polish international, but Swansea realise that they may struggle to keep hold of him.

The Swans’ relegation to the Championship means that a number of their key players may leave.

And Swansea are said to value Fabianski at £7 million, with West Ham eyeing up the 33-year-old.

At that price, the Hammers should go through with the deal – even though he has little re-sale value.

In the modern market, few players of the quality of Fabianski will cost as little as £7 million.

Fabianski has proven to be a very reliable stopper for the Swans over the past few years, and established himself as a solid Premier League goalkeeper.

He would be a significant upgrade on West Ham’s current options in goal.

And for as little as £7 million, West Ham should not have to think twice about bringing Fabianski in.
