Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal did not want to sell Gabriel Magalhaes in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist has claimed that there was interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia in Arsenal central defender Gabriel.
However, the Gunners were adamant that they were not going to sell the £100,000-a-week (SalarySport) defender.
Romano has claimed that Arsenal were not going to part company with the 25-year-old Brazilian star for even €200 million (£171.54 million).
Gabriel has been on the books of Arsenal since 2020 when he joined from French club Lille.
The 25-year-old has made 99 appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners so far in his career.
Gabriel has scored 10 goals and kept 32 clean sheets in those games.
Arsenal should sell Gabriel for €200 million (£171.54 million)
We believe that if Arsenal received a bid of €200 million (£171.54 million) for Gabriel in the future, then they should sell him.
It is as simple as that.

No questions asked.
Yes, Gabriel is a very good defender, but there are better players out there.
After all, the 25-year-old has not even played a senior game for Brazil so far in his career.
If Gabriel were a world-class defender, then he would be playing regularly for Brazil.
A transfer fee of €200 million (£171.54 million) is a lot of money for any player.
In our view, if Arsenal get offered that sum in the January transfer window or next summer, then they should take it.
