Paul Heckingbottom is no longer in charge of Elland Road outfit Leeds United.

Heckingbottom was appointed as the Leeds head coach in February 2018 following the departure of Thomas Christiansen.
However, the 40-year-old has now been relieved of his duties at Elland Road, with the West Yorkshire outfit on the hunt for a replacement at the moment.

Evans was in charge of Leeds from October 2015 until the end of the 2015-16 season when Massimo Cellino was the club’s owner.
The former Rotherham United manager has revealed what he told Heckingbottom before he took the Leeds head coach, and it seems that he was right in his prediction.
Evans told Sky Sports: ”I spoke to Paul just before he went into Leeds and I said ‘you may only get to the summer’. He had done such a fantastic job at Barnsley it was a career risk to choose Leeds.”

Prediction comes true
When Heckingbottom was appointed as the Leeds head coach, the Whites still had a chance of finishing in the top six of the Championship.
The way the team performed under Heckingbottom was not great, and they also lost matches that they should have won.
It was almost inevitable that the Englishman was going to lose his job given the way the Whites went down the table under him.
