Fawaz Al-Hasawi may be on his way out of Nottingham Forest but Mark Warburton shouldn’t get too comfortable with Evangelos Marinakis arriving.

Mark Warburton would surely have harboured one or two doubts about taking over at Nottingham Forest, and not just because of their precarious position in the Championship table.
Since much-maligned businessman Fawaz Al-Hasawi completed his takeover of the club in 2012, Forest have had six permanent managers. That averages more than one a year. Therefore, if Warburton wanted long-term stability after his spell at Rangers went sour, the City Ground was probably not the place to come.
Therefore, reports that Al-Hasawi is finally set to release Forest from his icy grip, according to the BBC, should be a welcome relief to the former Brentford boss. However, the man who could replace him at the helm, Evangelos Marinakis, is far from a soft touch.
The 49-year-old, an Omar Baba-esque giant of a man, is expected to take control of Forest in the coming days. And although the shipping tycoon has presided over a period of sustained success at current club, Greek giants Olympiakos, this has come at a cost.
Well, to the club’s managers anyway.
Axe to grind
Olympiakos may have won the league title every year since Marinakis took over in 2010 but, in the same time frame, the club have had seven different managers including current Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim, Hull City’s prospective saviour Marco Silva (below) and Ernesto Valverde, linked with the top job at Barcelona.

Victor Sanchez, a former Real Madrid star now working at Real Betis, lasted just two games between June and August, paying the price for failing to get through the Champions League qualifying round.
And, only two months ago, former Portugal manager Paolo Bento paid the price for only guiding the club to seven points clear at the top of the table.
Perhaps Warburton shouldn’t get too comfortable in Nottingham.
