HITC Sport understands Norwich risk losing highly-rated striker Adam Idah as interest mounts.

A number of clubs across Europe are monitoring Norwich City’s highly rated youngster Adam Idah’s situation at Carrow Road, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Idah is highly-regarded at Norwich having impressed for the club since joining from Irish club College Corinthians in 2017.
The 17-year-old won the club’s U18 and Academy player of the year awards and he has continued to shine for Norwich’s Under-23s side this season with eight goals in 11 Premier League Two games.
Idah has been on the radar of a number of Europe’s top clubs after starring on the international scene with the Republic of Ireland’s Under-17s side at the U17’s European Championships in Croatia in 2017.

The prolific forward scored eight goals to help the Republic of Ireland qualify for the 2018 European Under-17 Championship, helping his country reach the quarter-finals of the tournament and he has now stepped up to the Under-19s.
Idah, who is yet to make his first-team debut for Norwich, is in the final 18 months of his contract at Carrow Road and his foreign suitors know they could land the teenager on a pre-contract next January.
Idah is unlikely to break into the Norwich first-team anytime soon with Daniel Farke’s side challenging for promotion to the Premier League. Should Norwich win promotion to the top-flight, the youngster could find his pathway to the first-team blocked with the club likely to strengthen the squad in the summer.
