Ligue 1 side Rennes are reportedly interested in signing Everton striker Moise Kean this summer, with the forward struggling out on loan with former side Juventus.
According to Juve Dipendenza, Rennes have made a move to sign the 22-year-old attacker, who was last seen in an Everton shirt at the start of the season in August, where Kean started for the Toffees in a 2-1 League Cup win against Huddersfield Town.
The Italian international was then loaned out to Juventus on loan with an obligation to buy if certain objectives were met as reported by ESPN, yet as per Juve Dipendenza, the Serie A giants have no intention of signing Kean.
And now, Rennes have come forward and offered a potential escape route for Kean, who signed for Everton in 2019 for a reported £27m as per BBC Sport, with the Ligue 1 side noted for being one of the most ambitious in Europe.
The Brittany-based side have built a solid reputation for themselves in recent years as a club that prides itself in playing young players and developing them into world-beaters, with the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Ismaila Sarr and Ousmane Dembele all products of Rennes’ system.
And for Kean, Rennes now look to end the striker’s Everton nightmare by signing the youngster this summer in a deal that could see the promising attacker finally depart the blue side of Merseyside for good.
Kean must make Rennes move and cut his ties with Everton for good

The excitement surrounding Kean when he signed for Everton in 2019 was something the Toffees hadn’t seen in some time, yet three years later, the player, the club and the fans are now just waiting for this loveless marriage to come to an end.
And with Rennes now interested in signing Kean, the promising Italian talent now has the chance to rebuild his career and to make up for lost time if Everton can offload the youngster to the Ligue 1 side for good this summer.
