Former Leeds United goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald’s spell back in Germany is not going well.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell’s goalkeeping error at the weekend served as a reminder of Leeds United’s troubles at the position over the past few years.
12 months ago it was Felix Wiedwald committing mistakes, hurting his team with costly moments.
Wiedwald played so badly he ended up getting released in the summer, one year into a three-year contract.
Wiedwald popped up back at former club Eintracht Frankfurt, who have Europa League football on offer this season.
Last week though when Frankfurt began their group stage campaign, Wiedwald was nowhere to be seen.
The former Leeds stopper failed to even make the substitute’s bench, after falling down the pecking order to third choice.
So far, Wiedwald is yet to make a single appearance for his new side.

His last competitive game came back on February 3, when Leeds lost 3-0 away to Middlesbrough.
At the current rate he is going, it’s unclear when Wiedwald is going to get a chance to play his next one.
His poor performances at Elland Road really set his career back, and some may say he only has himself to blame.
