O’Kane was missing for last week’s draw at Fulham and he was only a late substitute as Leeds dropped more points in the race for promotion after being held to a goalless draw at home to Queens Park Rangers.

O’Kane has made 21 appearances in the Championship and Leeds have won 13 of those games involving the Irishman, while without the defensive midfielder Leeds have won just seven of the 16 games he has missed and lost six.

O’Kane adds experience and composure to Leeds’ midfield, and has helped the club pick up more wins than maybe they would have without him in the engine room.
Leeds face a difficult looking run-in in the final nine games of the Championship campaign and O’Kane is sure to play a huge role if Leeds are to reach the play-offs and they will hope the midfielder will be back in the side for this weekend’s massive clash with Championship rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.
