Eunan O’Kane says that Leeds United need to learn from the mentality of the promotion-winning team of Bournemouth.

Leeds United midfielder Eunan O’Kane has told The Yorkshire Post the lesson that he and his teammates need to learn from midweek disappointment.
The West Yorkshire outfit failed to win against Wigan Athletic at home in the Championship on Tuesday evening.
The Whites took the lead at Elland Road just before the half-hour mark when Chris Wood found the net.

Wigan restored parity in the first minute of injury time when Shaun MacDonald scored via the woodwork.
O’Kane has revealed the lesson that Leeds need to learn from their failure to win against the Latics.
The 26-year-old midfielder joined Garry Monk’s side from Premier League club Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.
The Republic of Ireland international believes that Leeds should follow the example of the Cherries, who won promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the 2014-15 season.

“The mentality at Bournemouth was not to let people off the hook,” O’Kane told The Yorkshire Post. “It was to go and score five or six goals.
“On Tuesday it wasn’t like we planned to do this but after we scored we took a backwards step rather than another step forward. If we learn and stop it happening again then it was worthwhile it happening.
“It is a lesson that needs to be learned quickly because, if you don’t, you can end up at the wrong end of the table off the back of things like that.”
Leeds will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in the Championship.
The Whites are 14th in the league table at the moment with 17 points from 13 matches.
