Etienne Capoue was full of attacking intent as he tried to help Watford to a win over West Brom at the weekend.
The central midfielder was making just his second Premier League appearance for his new side after his summer transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.
And yet despite this he managed to better his 24 matches played for Tottenham in the league in two key areas.
Capoue completed more passes in the final third of the pitch (23) than in any match he played for Spurs, and for the first time in 26 Premier League games, created two chances in one match.

His display was not quite enough to give Watford the edge over West Brom, with the game ending 0-0, but to their credit they remain unbeaten over their first two matches.
Capoue appears to be given trust and license to roam far more than he was at Spurs, and the added responsibility handed to him by Watford boss Quique Flores could finally see him show why he was originally signed from Toulouse in 2013.
