West Ham United and Stoke City played out a goalless draw in the Premier League on Saturday.

Matthew Etherington has taken to social networking site Twitter to have his say on the draw between West Ham United and Stoke City in London on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham and Stoke played out a goalless draw at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League.

Etherington, who played for both the Hammers and the Potters, was following the match, and he saw positives for both teams.

The former Tottenham Hotspur winger was also impressed with the performance of West Ham summer signing Michail Antonio.

Antonio, who joined West Ham from Championship side Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window, started the game at the Boleyn Ground and played until the 83rd minute.

The winger took five shots, created two chances, attempted four dribbles, put in six crosses, and made three ball recoveries.

West Ham are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 16 matches, just five points behind fourth-place Manchester United.
