West Ham United look to continue their resurgence by hosting the Blues tonight.

Alejandro Moreno has told ESPN that he expects Chelsea to edge out West Ham United and reach the quarter-finals of the League Cup tonight.
The London Stadium plays host as the Irons look to continue their resurgence following a poor start to the Premier League season.
West Ham have won their last two league outings – both by a 1-0 margin – after winning just one of their first seven games.

Slaven Bilic’s side look to have turned a corner, but that theory will be majorly tested this evening as they come up against a Chelsea side on a huge high after thumping Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
Antonio Conte’s troops have already beaten their East London counterparts this season, and Moreno does not expect the Hammers to avenge that defeat earlier in the campaign.

He told ESPN: “West Ham have had an indifferent start to the season, and even though it’s away from home, I think Chelsea and Antonio Conte will find a way.”
Winston Reid’s last-minute winner was needed to see off bottom-of-the-table Sunderland in London on the weekend, which does not inspire huge confidence, but the win was always far more important than the performance, and Bilic will hope to see that the victory will boost morale a little ahead of hosting the Blues.
