Former Venezuela international forward Alejandro Moreno has predicted on ESPN FC that Bayern Munich will win against Celtic at home this evening.

Bayern will make on Celtic at the Allianz Arena in Champions League Group B.

Moreno now works as a pundit for ESPN, and the 38-year-old former Los Angeles Galaxy and Columbus Crew forward has backed the German giants to pick up all three points from the encounter against Brendan Rodgers’s side.

“Yes,” Moreno told ESPN FC when asked if Celtic can be destroyed by Bayern. “Jupp Heynckes now back with Bayern Munich, they seem to over so now they can play.

“They couldn’t play with Carlo Ancelotti, but now a week later they are like, ‘Oh, We are ballers. Don’t you know we are ballers?’ Of course, they are, they will beat Celtic.”

Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have one of the strongest teams in Europe. The Bavarian giants are one of the favourites for the Champions League this season and could go all the way.

It is hard to see Jupp Heynckes’s side lose to Celtic on Wednesday evening, although one should not be surprised if the Hoops do score at the Allianz Arena.

Celtic have some very good players going forward, and they could breach the Bayer citadel at some point.

However, Bayern should be able to pick up three points from the Champions League match with relative ease.
