Liverpool have failed to eradicate their problems at the back this season.

ESPN’s Craig Burley appears to have suggested Liverpool as a possible January destination for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.
Trapp is currently behind Alphonse Areola in the French giants’ pecking order, and says he ‘absolutely has to be playing’ regular football in the second half of the campaign [ESPN], with his aim to be named in Germany’s World Cup squad.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have failed to eradicate their problems at the back this season, and signing the 27-year-old, who played the full 90 minutes as Germany drew 2-2 with France in Cologne on Tuesday, could be mutually beneficial, Burley appears to have suggested on Twitter.
The former Chelsea and Scotland midfielder posted:
Liverpool, whose manager Jurgen Klopp is also German, currently have Simon Mignolet, Loris Karius and Danny Ward competing for a place in goal.
And any move for Trapp, who has been linked with a move to Klopp’s old side Borussia Dortmund, would perhaps depend on one of the above being moved on simultaneously.
Should Liverpool make a move for PSG’s Kevin Trapp?
