Ernst Tanner, who is known to be close friends with Tottenham Hotspur manager target Julian Nagelsmann has given a hint about his next career move.
The Swiss manager and chairman had his say on SPORT1 amid a recent report that suggested that Daniel Levy is waiting to hear from the German in order to bring him in at Spurs.

As many speculate whether Julian Nagelsmann will indeed be the manager to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur, Ernst Tanner may have revealed which his pal may be set to join.
Ernst Tanner drops Julian Nagelsmann hint amid Tottenham manager links
The former Bayern Munich boss is regarded as one of the best managers in the world.
But a question mark amongst many is whether he would be willing to make his way to N17, especially after managing a true superteam.
However, Ernst Tanner has indicated that Julian Nagelsmann could have his sights set on coaching in the Premier League as he constantly gets linked to taking over the Tottenham manager post.
“The coaching market is very tight, especially in the top segment, and German coaches are incredibly important abroad. So, Julian doesn’t need to worry about his next job. Despite his young age, he has experienced everything in Germany and I don’t know to what extent that still appeals to him.”
“Real [Madrid] will definitely be an option again, but in terms of language and interests, I see England as the next and logical step. Whether that has to be Tottenham in all haste, I dare to doubt.”
Considering Ernst Tanner and Julian Nagelsmann clearly go way back, Tottenham fans should be excited by this revelation as it seems like would be open to becoming their next manager.
With that being sad, things change quickly in football and it is likely that one of the most revered coaches will not have a shortage of job opportunities come the summer.
